mao gyud. holy week is not supposed to be spent off by partying or getting wasted. hello? you can do it for the other 360 days of the year but cant you just spend the 5 days solemnly?

Tungod na ni Gwen mao ala ayu events and parties ngadto. Ala mu kabantay nah dghan mga police? nagbantay to cla if naa bah jud musupak nah mga resort, dili lng to para sa security sa lugar. Pro di man jud nah tradition sa mga bantayanon ang "party". Niadto tah sa procession to see unsa jud ang tradition sa bantayan. makakita mu unsa kanindot ang mga carrozas and images.

ibalhin lang unta sa ubang adlaw ang party. kay sagrado man pud tawn na sa mga taga-Bantayan ang Holy Week. di ta kabuot sa mga tagi-lungsod kay dayo ra man ta didto, kitang mga taga-syudad.
respetaran lang pud na nato mga tol. party lang ta before or after holy week. pwede man pud na sa May 1 ang party, kay daghan sa ato wa man work ana...

Was there in Sugar Beach last year. It was entirely the same as you described. Good thing, we didn't rely on the resort's activities to enjoy our trip. We went out and explore Sta Fe and Bantayan on ourselves and not get holed in Sugar Beach. One thing I noticed and won't forget though, everything there is with a price. And not a cheap one huh! Ice for 5peso? Whew!

This year, we went somewhere South.
