bro goat skin arent suitable for congas. it's becoz of the nature of the drum itself. You wont be able to produce earthy tones and slaps much with goat skin. nipis ra man gud ang goat skin. this is why calf skin are used for congas. much thicker but more presence. it's odd to see people use congas as if it were djembe or parade drums. it defeats the purpose.

if i were you id go for calf skin
