ways to avoid/prevent/minimize chances of getting HIV:
- protected ***...
- no sharing of needles ...better still no needles oi (para sa mga adis2)
- ensure blood to be used for transfusion is properly screened / tested
- do not come into contact with body fluids kay in case naa ka gamay wound ...na ma contaminate dayon ka (mao na homosexuals are high risk tungod sa anal *** unya dali man masamad ang syobot..)

condoms are not always effective.. using a condom is not a reason why we shouldn't get the virus. the message is there.. use condoms if you don't practice abstinence or infedelity. or better yet.. if doubtness occurs as to whether or not ur partner is infected with the virus or not then have you and your partner go to a doctor and have yourselves checked.

Do we have any data specific to the region of Cebu or Philippines on how many people are infected? or any statistics by gender, by class (students, prefessionals.. ect) if we have these data then that would help other people to realize that the possibility of exposure is very high in this country
