To serve God. This is a good answer, however it is unprovable. Man has several purposes on this earth which are observable. One, is that he populates the earth. Two, being the higher form of life--meaning endowed with intelligence--he has to take care of this earth. Three, being an animal he is part of the food chain. He is a predator, or in the case of parasites he is the prey. Ultimately, when man dies he is food for bacteria.

I dont know if correct but when in times of troubles i discover that my family relies on me. i think thats my purpose here on earth to be able to help them. Though i'm not fortune enough to have everything love life, fame and wealth. but on the other hand i'm lucky coz i have lots of friends that i can count on.
Maybe in every stage of our lives we find our purpose....We may not find it definite yet but to be able to have impact on other peoples lives. That might answer the question.
