Chapter 5
It was mind-boggling. The guy kept on laughing like there’s really something funny. I thought he had serious mental problems.
“Did you seriously think I took your purse from you?” he finally
after a very long laugh.
“Yes. You didn’t think you were on a gag show, right?” I sarcastically answered him. The truth is, his laugh really got me irritated. I sat down on one of the leather chairs in front of the executive table as he sat down on his own chair. He raised his feet, rested it on top of the table with both hands behind his neck as he leaned his back.

“Ugh! You’re very impossible! How can I change my name when it’s already my name?” I grabbed the folder from him and started to walk to the door, but he quickly blocked the way.
“Tell me you’re not Noelle.”
“Are you nuts? If you won’t get out of my way, I’m gonna kick your precious and call the security. This time, it’s for real!”
