ahaw, like what we've said, it might be a broken drive.

sorry, im no expert on data recovery when the drive has already been tried to get fixed. maybe somebody else can say something about the recovery. anyways hope your hdd still works.

himoa siya ng master sa pc nga madetect cya then i-run ni nga disk utility....
mau ni last nga option to recover broken HD..kung dili kapasar ani..RIP na jud na..

Guys, nacheck na ang hdd s laing pc. Nadetect ra cya. Gi.scandisk nya for errors. Daghan kaau file segment unreadable. Thousands daw. Nya if i.click nya ang drive, "not formatted" daw..
-marecover pa ang files ani? Unsaun?
-does this mean nga functional pa ang hdd? I.reformat lang ni?

i try lang na og fdisk ang imong HDD there's a possibilty nga ma recover na imong mga files, unya gamiti lang og recovery tool nga mga softwares naa daghan downloadable sa net ana... pero not a 100% recover naa jud files ana nga dili ma recover. hope it helps

under windows, try to use RECUVA, a free disk recovery program i once used when i accidentally formatted a wrong drive. it might work sa imoha since makita man kaha sa bios imo hdd, and makita sad sa windows, although daghan errors. be sure lang naa ka adequate space on another drive or partition to save whatever can be recovered.

dili makita sa bios ang hdd bro. okay gigive up na lang nako ako datas.... though not detected cya sa bios, nakita ra man ang partitions pagreformat nako... mao gireformat na lang jud nako. karon "okay" pa. nakasulod na ko sa windows. BUT, before "windows xp loading...", naay white status bar( karon ra jud ko kakita ani) nya dugay pa usa pa to mugawas ang xp loading.. unsa indication ani? white dashed bars siya... nya muload pud siya.. guba ako harddrive?? pero nagamit pa man karon.. btw, ang ako usa ka partition kai okay ra siya.. naopen ra nako ang drive D(back-up nko). atleast naa did2 ang ubang datas..

gamiti ug diagnoctic tools gkan sa manufacturer bro. ug seagate na, seatools gamita, i forgot unsa to para western digital drives....

ang ako buhaton ana basta kadudahan ang hdd kai to use a diagnostic tools. pag mag error try nako to low-level format or bisag zero-fill entire drive.. then if mo success reformat. gamit jud na ang zero-fill or low level format bro, it repeatedly read/write 1 sector at a time aron i test integrity sa area then to nxt sector napud.

if d jud madala, gamit spinrite... ayaw salig ana na imo na format kay sure ko imo ra na gi quick format hahahaha... d jud entire drive gi test ana bro
