It would seem that the senator is spending too much even when he cannot travel. I think his staff is using well the funds allotted for his office.

This is a call to the senators that their expenses are being scrutinized by the public. They cannot easily get away with it, so to speak. If they spending public funds, they should also be assuring the public that they are using them in lieu and in consideration of the position they hold. Otherwise stated, they should prove that the expenses made will redound to the benefit of the people through the quality and quantity of laws that they make.

let this be a lesson to us. i don't think corruption is hopeless in our country. there's still hope as long as we live, as long as we elect someone who will not anymore corrupt. i believe we cebuanos are wise voters....let us all vote wisely, no more to corrupt government officials.
