well, does the person look real and seamless? i think theres an expensive plugin for high end 3d apps like maya and xsi. i forgot the name. it maps the person(probably the face only) and does a lip sync in real time streams to the 3d app. really cool. but im not particular with it.

im not sure if mao bani pero i think thats what is used in games.. programmers create a 3d polygonal and skeletal model of the character then they used textures (that are in high res and details) and wrap it around the polygonal model.. i think thats who it works

An expensive plug in it is. its RPC and they just have 2 demos. Its more of a billboard type of mapping. thats in reals 3d apps another rendering software.

Dili man cya idevelop para 3d. Jpgs rana or BMPs naa gi map sa object. Its called billboarding in reals3d. Kng magskeleton man gud ka magcompute nasad gud sa polygon count ergo making it longer to render. Mas maayo man cguro ang bmps or jpg kay i map rman gud na niya.

problem with mapping is that when you get zoom close enough mo blurr gihapon maski 1024 resolution na ang mip sa mbp nimo. il show you the Dawn demo nya sa GeForce FX nig ad2 nimo sa balay.. nig zoom no blurry effect kay dli mani mapping ilang gamit..
