ows....this is so sad. Anyhow, I'm just thankful that installation in my place didn't push tru because signal is weak.

with this feedback and others as well, ill be thinking twice na of subscribing with them when signal is available in my place.

in fairness also with meridian, I think they are still in the early stage of developing their wireless broadband services. Lets just wait and see for future upgardes.

Our office recently subscribed to Meridian so far so BAD and getting worst.

Some issues we got:

1.) Meridian close port 25 STMP sending of email. This is the most lame security measure i have ever seen for an ISP. Have they considered thier subscribers that send email for business purpose. Like for us we got websites and emails to managed everyday not only 1 but more. We can only recieve email but can't send. LAME!

2.) Technical Support is not that good compared to other networks.

3.) Slow response to technical issue.

... tsk tsk tsk ... i will add more.. still evaluating the service.

To bad its the most lamest thing closing port 25. I think they should use WPA and radius.

exactly there are other solutions also to fight spam. consider that giant ISP to mention GLOBE & PLDT are opening both ports for thier clients 21 and 25

also in this situation to mention how lame is thier tech support i think only guy knows and share the basics to others.

in fairnesss sa ila they need to work hard for customer relationship.

noticed when major troubles all thier phone lines are bussy. or they just dial the other phone (tsk tsk tsk)

mao jud siguro na pakapin kung barato na dsl wireless anyway naa man daghan nag-offer ug dsl service kung di jud mo-consistent ila internet connection di mobalhin.

hmm ako sad raba ni gi recommend sa ako mga friends kay naa mana ko DSL unya naa man 2 years lock up so dili ko ganahan mo balhin. if ingon ani ang case sa meridian daghan problem ah dili nalang ko mo recommend ani. about ato ako friend sa expected date na mo ad2 ang technican kay wala ni ad2 heheheh.

Anyway early stage pa bitaw sila i just hope meridian could fix these problems kay so far sa ako-a lang personal use. wala man koy reklamo ma down sila due to upgrades i just hope sad na ga upgrade gyud sila

Hybernate: nag Globe nalang unta ka ug PLDT kung pang business kay you know na stable naman sila "Big ISP" nagud na sila

pero all in all satisfied man ko sa akong connection karon. dili lang ko satisfied sa akong board kay naay problema sa bios sige kaging!
