Have you guys noticed on the local papers that Cebu City is publishing tax collection contrasts between the province and cebu city?


also, i think you could spend the cash on something more fruitful rather than publishing these kind of crap on the newspapers which mind you has been going on for a week, on a whole page. imagine the taxpayers money your spending on this. you could've used it for education for the less fortunate.

im not taking the capitol's side here but the cebuano people who pay taxes to the city and only to find out that the city hall idiots are out wasting it on some childish war with the province.

Agree Cebu City should spend the money wisely but on the other side I tend to agree on this publicity. Let the figure decides and let the people knows the truth.

I think they should consider that most business entities are located in the city and therefore cannot be collected taxes by the province. Ang nagbayad sa buhis sa province kay ang kadtong naa sa towns outside cebu city. user your head city hall PR guys.

You can't compare Cebu City to Cebu Province in terms of infracstructure, Cebu Province has Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City, Talisay City, Toledo City and some Class A Municipality. It reveals the truth and it shows the incompetency of Cebu Province officials.

You have to consider guys that BIG companies are located in Cebu City. Plus the colon area grabe ang tax income diha. Hospitals, Universities etc are located in Cebu City. I think we should all agree that the democratic "experiment" has failed in this country. Our people are not capable of self-governance. We are a failure. It's time to welcome our new masters, the Chinese/Koreans/Japanese/Indonesians/Indians whoever of them invades us first. Just as the Romans in Rome swung the gates wide open to the invading barbarians at the peak of corruption and decay in their society, so should we invite other countries to invade us and save us from ourselves!

That is not an exemption or an excuse compare to Cebu City unsaon nalang nang Atlas, Tsu Neshi, MePZ 1, MEPZ 2, San Miguel, 5 Hotel and resort and of course CICC and among others.

Same thing you can't compare Cebu Province to Bohol Province being the number 1 province in region 7 interms of real property tax collection. What is Bohol Province compare to Manduae City business establishment and manufacturing firms.

to be fair, I think I have not yet come across a full or even a line newspaper ad, paid or unpaid by Capitol making a spin or propaganda against Cebu City hall. Correct me lang if i am wrong.

As i heard from the grapevine, more and more probincyanos are getting affected by this black propaganda and created resentment against Tomas...
