Genesis 1 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth...

God created everything from the beginning and there was no evolution in the Bible. We did not evolve!
We cannot believe both because they contradict each other. If you believe in evolution it simply means you deny God as our creator.

Honest science and logic show that our incredibly marvelous and complex world could never have evolved by accident.

Remember that the scientific method requires observation and repeatable research. So calling evolution “science” doesn’t make any sense

natural selection is a modern idea.. it supersedes earlier primitive ideas of how living things came to be.. but you still choose to cling to your precious Bible literally..

its only natural to question the validity of the accounts in the bible, and like what cromagnon said, some of them are parables or stories for children meant to pass on some moral lessons thru tradition..

heres how it goes brad . we dun hate the bible . when bible hasnt been written yet. everyone is an athiest . when there was still no concept of a god.

now if somedoy writes a new bible , a book . is not believing it makes us a bore, or lack of education ur saying .

now ,maybe we can learn ageless wisdom from the bible , but why not accewpt the fact the evlution is true , as waht the popes did .

No it is quite accurate labeling and term. Words used by members expose their deep hatreds and resentments to God, Scriptures, Christians, Creationism, and Me. It comes out in the language that is used and how they describe that which they choose not to believe. Lie all you want to yourself but it is still there. I love how when they are challenged, their disbelief is questioned, they love to throw the word predigest. When what they do is far worst. I have been on this forum over 4 months now and never has anyone ever discuss in depth ONE ACTUAL THEORY in intellectual debate. I have seen actual controdictions imposed to false claims by members. Which are met with silly smiley faces, stupid attempts to be comedians, or worse just ignored and trivialized.

Yes, natural selection is a modern idea. But the jury is still out on this one. Science has to tell faerie tales, ignore facts, and use blind faith for it to work. Science can not disprove the Bible are God! IT CAN NOT DO IT!!!!!!! You can claim that it can all you want, but it will still be a DAMN LIE!!! When you show those facts, The Atheist will make you a bigger God than their Darwin.

Atheist want the Bible to be proven wrong so badly you will be world famous. The man who could prove there is no God. Until you can become that man, I will believe in the Bible. Yes question it but with verifiable facts and challenge the sources and agenda of the sciences. Science is the only real form of evolution and natural selection on the planet. It is in a constant state of revision and new theories replacing the flaws of the old. Scientist are after all just people, and suffer from the same flaws that plague all men shortsightedness, laziness, incompetence, bias, predigests, stupidity, vanity, false pride, narcissism, and many others weaknesses.
Even Newton's Law of Gravity had to be revised. No theory is above review or revision, because science evolves constantly. What is believed true today may be proven to be wrong tomorrow, constantly test everything. Over 20 years in the sciences I have seen theories and beliefs come and go, science is yet a child trying to answer big questions. It will mature and the answers will come. Time can not be rushed, but science can be slowed. Agenda and bias in the Halls of Science academia is it's own worst enemy.

Prove God is Dead or does not exist, and Atheist will make you a hero. They will build statues of your likeness through out the world. You will still be wrong. Darwin is their hero, that is why they fight so hard to hold to his flawed theories. I have see his flaws first hand with my own eyes and held them in my own hand.

No most ancient cultures had their Gods, and so many had flood stories. They are just considered False Gods. There are these things that are called history books. Read some and you will understand that your statement has big flaws in the logic.

The Bible is comprised of some writing which go back 3,300 years and others that are over 1,900 years. The Book of Enoch was before the time of the Biblical flood, possible 12-16,000 years ago.

I do not totally disagree with many of the sciences of evolution. I do not blindly follows all the theories, for many are not sustained by verifiable facts are evidence. Darwinian theories have more holes than Swiss cheese and contain some faerie tales, which rival or surpass the Biblical text which it tries to destroy. The problem is the establishes time tables which were by design to cause doubt in the Bible, by Atheist with a hidden agenda. Reassess the time lines to more accurately match current evidence and there is support for the Biblical text.

proving god is dead or does not exist is not in my list of things to do.. first of all, that God exists cannot be proved nor disproved.. but you claim that God exists.. so where is he now? no amount of reason can show that god exists.. you're crossing the line between belief and reality..

you claim that your God exists, try telling that to a Muslim, he'd claim that his God exists too.. so which God is it now? then there's Judaism, he claims his God exists too.. my my, so many Gods existing but you don't even see any sort of real evidence or trails of their supposedly magical existence..

heheh... some people would want to "just believe" probably out of intellectual laziness, or they feel "at home" and comfortable to be in that state of mind. my friend and i were talking about "GOD" last night over bottles of beer, and he told me the reason why he believes in God---he said "because i hate asking questions and i JUST believe." what a sad reality, but i guess that's what FAITH is all about.
