earlier last week, when i suddenly found myself some idle time, i dialled a friend from city hall.. i discussed with her about the plight of those dogs - cramped in makeshift cages - peddled by these scrupulous persons as ordinary commodities. they stay there practically the whole day - rain or shine.

i told my friend, i wonder why they havent lifted a finger about this glaring violation - (1) sidewalk being beyond the commerce of man; (2) animal cruelty in broad daylight. she told me they'll act on it one of these days...

... and boy i was happy to see today elements of cityhall confiscate those hapless dogs/puppies away from those peeps... i presume theyre on their way to the city pound... calling those who would want to ADOPT dogs, maybe now is the opportune time for you to visit the city vet... im sure you can find your pet dog there
