picture this: you saw a billboard and u were reminded of a joke made by a friend that has something to do with sexy absract art and u tell it--and he didnt get it. never even acknowledge it.
this is usually his reaction to most of what you say. high end stuff is just not his cup of tea. so u quit trying to talk about those things nga kibaw mo dili gyud sya makacontribute. you just talk about neutral things. mostly HIS thing. you are happy with him man. he TRY to make you laugh. although his jokes are sometimes too off color for your tastes.

he's really a pain in the ass. i told my ex once just like yours that he's slow jud. i asked him why maglisod cya ug ride. he told me na slow jed daw cya. so everytime magkuyog mi, i explained to him everything & define each. but now, ma shock lang ko coz ako na ang tudloan..like that ba, lay down all your cards & talk it all out..

makes me wonder why in the first place did one reach to that intimate level of a relationship, when for sure the disparity as to intelligence quotient, which is too much to compromise at, may have been pretty evident since his/her first few acquaintances with that lady/guy... people will always have flaws, and partners are supposed to bring out the best on that person, not pin them down further for something that they are not fortunately blessed with more than enough..

personally.. i'd give much preference on a lady's EQ..
