i dont use any Anti virus, kapoi. bisan unsaon nimog butanga ma ka solod man ghapon ang mga virus

akong prevention is "NO REMOVABLE DEVICES ALLOWED" haha

Anti Virus programs will only slow down your computer if nag scan or nag update.
ok raman magbutang ug anti virus basta maka daog lang imong pc. "Prevention is better than cure".
Daghan pman sad lain factors of slowness sa imong pc aside from your anti virus... IMHO.

your right jud bro..especially if ur an internet user ky bisan unsa ra jud nga trojan ang mosulod sa pc/laptop..den without using an AV,ang mga signs and symptoms ana ky later pa na mogawas..but once nga naa na or naipon na na xa,dats wat we call trouble.

well for me..an antivirus is good for your PC coz it protects u from viruses -- wishing you a few viruses and malwares to infect your PC...The problem with an antivirus is, it does not guarantee you a full protection from viruses and malwares coz some av's does not detect a certain virus that's why I have special av tools for xtra protection like stinger,removal tools,noob killer,malwarebytes, sandboxie,etc.

before mag gamit ko ug AV pero mao japon naa virus. ang mga AV company maghimo sad ug virus
perme para mahalin ilang AV program para perme ka update....paets ,,,hehehe..mao karon ala ko use AV just safe surfing and avoid untrusted sites...p2p sharing etc grabe download ka naa pakapin trojan....so far 2 years nako ala AV and my computer functioning well

depende man pud sa imong pc... d man pud siya totally mka slow down.. during scans rman ug updates.. mao nang samtang nag scan/update, dont use your pc usa.. hehe .. pero ako pc dli muhinay bsag mag duwa2 pako during scans.. hehe

me, never jud ko mag install anti virus. since pa i started learning computers pentium2 era.

bisan pa magrequest ako clients pa install mobalibad jud ko.

pwerte jud hasola kapoy kaau. some of my clients nga gahi ulo, mag install jud antivirus sila sila ra, nya gamayng pop ups or prompts, problema, kita mga techs dayon pangitaon. nya if magcge na gani ta balik service nila, maikog nalang ko, madaut nalang ato ngalan cge kadaut ila pc. paet.

Its not the antivirus that is the problem but the features like firewall and active scanning.
Most security softwares tend to get corrupted and even blocks Internet access.
Give you problems with printer sharing, file sharing and other networking tasks.
Sometimes it would mess your operating system when there are windows updates.
