amen, okay ra man Jd. just bought their switch album . sakto si strat 60 it exceeds your expectation. at first I was hesitant to buy the record bec. I thought it would be crap knowing Hutchence is irreplaceable. believe it or not its one of their best since "kick". and that new guy writes one of the best songs on that album. pretty vegas, never let you go.

I'm not really engrossed on that one figure... I think the whole band took the easy way in - through a highly publicized screening process in search of a vocalist. They couldn't go wrong at all.. it was a win-win situation. They get to audition vocalists.. a very rigorous audition process... plus, the publicity the band got!! it was a worldwide thing.. nakakuha sab sila ug bag-ong fans, even with the younger generation .... a GREAT marketing move on their part. As a result, they have hit album selling millions of copies.

Pero think about it... what if they took the other way around.... walay reality show, wala tanan... just them posting ads and having auditions.. would you think their album would get this big? Would the band get this much impact?

its a marketing strategy. music is business as usual. lets face it folks , there will never be another michael hutchence, hes a legend period....

but you just have to give credit to this kid, hes talented. katong nakapalit sa bag o nila nga album you know hes the right one, I dont think hes immitating the original, he has his own style. I remember watching the show Rock star inxs when katong mga contestants gipasuwat sila og song as a group, and JD insisted to wrote that "Pretty Vegas" alone. his teamates hated him , but you know what Dave Navaro and INXS was fascinated by that song, they were really impressed. and from that moment I already know they got a new frontman. bisan daghan pa contestants nahabilin. the kid is arrogant and sexual thats what a rockstar is all about that gives him the ultimate prize.
