The Significant Others

They started out as a studio band in March 2002 and within a few weeks, created the songs Sugarcane Napkin and She Finds You. After getting some attention and well-deserved airplay the founding members-Marc, Mikel and Dalton, decided to turn it into a four piece live act, with Dexter. Later on, they added Tristan to solve the problem of guitar layering in their recording sessions. This is how The Significant Others was formed, and how their distinct sound, a mix of power pop and grunge, came to be.They released their first debut album entitled 377-A last August of 2003 includes the two of the band hit singles "Sugarcane Napkin" & "She Finds You", that took the group to new heights with gracious amount of radio airplay and exposure.The single "Sugarcane Napkin", was part of the internationally released compilation album called 9/11-The Healing Album under KNOW-IT-ALL Records which includes other local artist like Cynthia Alexander, Twisted Halo, Rayyn & Shiela & the Insects."She Finds You" is heard nationally over NU107-Manila and also gets airplay on regional Killer Bee Stations.The Band Has a new single out and it is being aired on SMASH 93.1 and Killerbee 92.3 the song is entitled "Magic Box". Another significant fact the song "Magic Box" entered the top ten local vocal countdown as well as the early return show program featuring the most requested song on Killer Bee 92.3, stayed in the coutdown for 1 week, and 1 month on the local vocal coutdown aired every sunday on it's release last november 2005 reaching up to no. 4 spot...

Nope brother Dexter they were not there that time... 2 of the members of TSO became my band mate before they formed TSO... I don't know if they were still active as of now but the last time i saw them perform i think 2006 pa at the Boss Grill... the last time they contact me they were looking for a drummer for a side project band...

Sorry peeps i can't answer some of the questions since i haven't seen and talk to them yet... @ iskolares Zuglu is not active anymore since the departure of Bimbo... Purple revenge i think was still alive active and some bands were doing well, as of me i am very active producing our own gigs in my band since we don't know where would our genre fit because gigs here in Cebu are very much into genre...

BTW this topic is for TSO i just have to answer few questions Sorry
