i think i'll just wait it out. 200kbps is ok than 33.6kbps on dial-up. my connection may be running slow, but it's still running. i get between 133kbps - 220kbps, here in leyte.

i think they have to replace the cable with a new one, don't see them diving under meters of water trying to find the break

Sakto. Agree ko w/ wendel. I'd rather wait 3-4 weeks for things to go back to normal than recklessly transfering to another ISP only to find out that their connection is the same (or even worse).

If you plan to transfer to PLDT myDSL, mas daghan complaints about constant DCs and long reconnections between DCs which has lasted until now.

My suggestion: Weather it out lang sa. If situation doesn't improve within one month, then change ISP. I suggest Bayantel na lang since wala kaayo koy nadungan nga problema here or in other forums.

if a big company like call centers in IT park... do they have the claim to file legal actions againts globelines for this issue? the case scenario is businesses are lossing every minute.

again - what are our options?
1.) switch to another provider? (bayantel, pt&t, pldt)
    2.) use dialup

    suggestions? opinions?
