If your point is not to share your wi-fi to unauthorized users, PUT a PASSWORD!

Thanks for this information. Please be reminded that one reason to have a wifi in our home or in office is to have a convenient way of accessing in the internet without the use of wire cables, now if we use this freakin' paint this will add much much trouble rather than fix.

My advice is still use the built in security features in router/access point, like Mac filtering, encryption and etc.

If you want to block other wifi, you can use a wifi jammer.
