you seem to be having bad luck with hard drives.
maybe you should switch to solid state device hdd.

falling/sliding off about 1" is no big deal.
but it's a big deal while the heads/cylinders are reading/spinning.
i would check that hdd with a hdd diagnostic software just to be sure.

OT:ssd are safe bitaw but maguba gihapon kong matagag og ma bongkag. pero kinsa man sad mo test sa ila ssd padong sa breaking point..

check for bad sectors ,coz your the drive was accessing some files

hi guys ingani pud ako problem bag.o lang and had it checkdisked last night and so far, mura wla man anything ni gawas na error message... pero gi checkdisk nko in windows ra..wala kadtong reboot thing.. if naay something wrong, would the checkdisk tell me ba if gi run nko in windows or makita ra if kadtong i-restart then chekdisk na method? thanks..hehe

ganahan lagi ko anang ssd pero mahal paman gud..

i downloaded and tried to use seatools but it sees the external hdd but the tests are unavailable daw.. boo!! it doesnt see the serial number or firmware revision of the drive but it can detect the model number..
