in my case, i usually flash my bios in windows but after that i will shutdown the PC and remove the battery for a minute then re.insert it before turning it back on. BUT if the OS is a new version vista or higher then i flash it in DOS since these OS' are not yet stable.

advice lng jud ko, never ever do BIOS flashing sa windows environment. do it via bootable removable device.
if macheck nimo ang BIOS, basin maka help ang uban. try pud nko...
i flashed bios many times using the intel boards own executable files..
and ASUS and gigabyte windows update tools....
beofre i update bios.. i turn off the firewall/antivirus and unecessary resources sa OS.
if possible you update your bios in safemode....(wala pa ko ka try but it should work).
and set the tool to always load system defaults.
so far wala ko ka encounter ug issues...
in my exprience reliable agn mga update tool sa asus and gigabyte and also intel.

mangahoy na lng cgro ka sa mga defective na mobo bro kay mrag same2x ra mn ang bios chip ana gd..
haha nag gg naman ni..ako na ghabwa sa case..lisud man guro pangita og bios na ani..
ma ibot2x ra mn nang bios chip bro..pro ang ubang motherboard kay nka sulda![]()
ako flash ko bisag asa oi ma windows mode or ma dos mode
so far wala pa may ni palpak hehehehe
if mo palpak ma recover pa man kay kato nipalpak nako intel mobo naa man para bios recovery hehehe
