I don't have a legal point on this but here's one thing, why did Gullas make that claim just now? He should not be messing around with Tomas' "pet project". Bear in mind that Tomas did not seek re-election because of this and we all know what that means.

If Eddie Gul will play this type of game then definitely he will lose to Tomas because Tomas can play hard ball & has been playing it for the people knows how long...

One thing the Osmenas are known for is foresight. I bet Tomas saw this coming, as shrewd as he is. You can also bet that he has a "win-win" solution all for him or for a better tone, all for Cebu City.

As far as Tomas' track record is concerned, nobody has ever stood up to Tomas and won. Be it Alvin, Darza, Barangay Captains, City Hall employees, Vendors, Drivers, TelCo's, etc. At the end of the day, what he wants he gets & his plans are implemented because he knows how to get it or play the game, fair & square or the other way around. (but it's more of the other way around, actually.)

i really think gullas shouldnt ask for cbu city to pay taxes to talisay coz of that srp thing...before it materialized, there was an agreement about a certain loan for that project that previous talisay mayors didnt wanna meddle with and cebu city has got to shoulder that alone...now, gullas is milking the goat..tsk tsk tsk..gullas is shrewd but tomas, i believe, is smarter....this project is worth billions of yen...this commotion could probably cause the city to sink in debts...hope not

Guys, as of now, kinsa ramay pwede maka agi sa SRP? (i mean maka gawas or sulud sa carbon na gate?) i have seen many private cars na nag agi agi na didto. pero na puy uban na dili mu agi..
