it tastes bad (bitter taste) for there are less dissolved salts in there, like metallic carbonates (Calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate...etc) and other salts that gave it taste, when you boil water the evaporates are mostly water, leaving the salts at the boiling pot, then you have to pass this evaporates into a condenser to produce the distilled water. One factor that alters the taste of distilled water and that is the absorption of Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere forming carboxilic acid, decreasing the pH of the distillate as well as making the taste a little bit sour.

it's carbonic acid, not "carboxilic acid", there is no such thing as "carboxilic acid", "carboxylic acid" nuon.

if we only deal with "absolutely pure WATER" lang and disregard the impurities, the packaging, even the hardness and the pH level since it's also due to the impurities, water will never expire..
i've even read somewhere na the water molecules you're drinking today are still the same water molecules the dinosaurs drank millions of years ago..
problem is, we can never have an "absolute state"..since water is the universal solvent..

looking at the references of the article (sa bottom dapit), wala man gibutang unsa nga specific article sa US EPA ang iya gi-quote. hmmm, i find the last sentence of the above paragraph debatable. being a chemical engineer, i was surprised nga "many metals are dissolved by distilled water". wala man gani naghatag ug example ang author, tsk tsk.
