1990 na man na ang brown out bro, it was composed after typhoon ruping hit cebu, kay pila to ka-weeks way kurente then y101 made a program (halad sa cebu) composed of all bisayan music (medusa taciturn -way sud sud, raw belief - baso, abyss - rad, btu - ngano etc.) it was called C.E.B.U. (Cebu Entertainers & Bands United) & brown out was not played in DYRT too.

The first local talent gi-feature sa Y101 bro, is ETU. it was introduced first by Johnny Kawa
