Yep, it has a 5.1 version but i think its the SB Live! Digital and only has 16Bit capabilty (Can be softmodded to an Audigy4Pro). The SB Live! 24Bit has 7.1 channels of output by default design..

Where na baligya ang Audigy4Pro diri? 17,500? Mahala ana uy, i got mine for 6,800 sa germany in october last year..

who the hell said you cant edit audio with the X-fi extreme music? got some links to back it up ? even a 400 pesos soundcard can edit -__-

X-fi 24bit crystalizer is NOT or no where even the best feature of the X-fi, really bai where do you get all that wrong information ( no offense ment )
ALL X-Fi model cards carry the same X-fi core processor ang difference lang isa the higher end models have this so called X-ram that doesnt do anything for now and the front panel the elite pro has better Sound to Noise Ratio but reviews havent been able to prove that it has better compared to its lower models.

Xtreme music is priced at around 6,900 to 7,600
Platinum is somewhere at the 13,500 to 14,000 range
and the rest are history ( meaning walay stock maabot ana )

Lets keep the flamebait postings aside shall we.

does that mod turn your Audigy into an X-fi with 100% of its functions ? i doubt it coz it tired those softmods already a long time ago, you are able to use its drivers and software settings but SQ and CPU overhead still remains the same.Can you show me links as to where they proved it worked.

based on this table here seems like its to far fetched to be able to turn your Audigy into an X-fi

All in all we still need a good set of speakers for these soundcards to shine.


Edit: if you have an Audigy already dont bother upgrading to an X-fi as it is no where worth it, just wait for the next generation after the X-fi

Mas mahal ang Platinum pro due to the other stuff included with the card. Front console and cd i think.

earlz card is indeed slightly the same price range as an audigy 2 zs. I should know because I own one. In fact, I bought it last year for 6,700 @ andersons (since they were the only ones who could deliver the stock in 2days time). I don't mind paying a little extra as long as naa ang unit nya maabot dayon.
