Compaq CQ40 pod akong new laptop, pre installed with Windows Vista Basic.

Naka notice ko, quite popular lagi kaau ang CQ40? I mean daghan kaayu ko nakit-an nga ingon ani ang laptop na brand ba. Dili baya siya barato compared with Lenovo nga tag P18,000 ang pinaka cheap.

Anyway, naa ko question, can I upgrade my laptop's RAM to 2 gig from 1 gig without losing the 1 year warranty for the laptop from HP?

Anyway, naa ko question, can I upgrade my laptop's RAM to 2 gig from 1 gig without losing the 1 year warranty for the laptop from HP?

In my case, wala man nawala ang warranty, pero ang akong gi buhat kay i purchased another 1 gig chip, and let the reseller install the chip for me to avoid any complications with the warranty issue.

Payter pud ang wireless ani (dunno kung naka timing bah ani nga unit), naay isa ka lugar sa among province nga medyo layo ang wifi router, and tanang laptops nga gidala kay dili maka connect during sa meeting, only my laptop could connect though 1 bar lang ang strength pero maka check ko sa akong email, kanang pure http access lang...

I've tried installing XP pud sauna, pero nahurot jud ang akong oras kay limited pa kaau ang resources (website links, forums,etc) ato sauna mao nga wala nalang ko nag XP, im using windows 7 karon...

Bro you are referring to down grade your OS. You cannot down grade it immediately.

follow this step bro:

1. run windows vista 1st. "before you down grade windows vista."
2. delate all partition drive using windows vista. after deleting the drive restart your laptop
3. now bot it using windows xp and make it the partication of our drive.
4. make a fresh installation.
5. install all driver for windows xp.

"NOTE: Make sure to back up our files 1st and download all the drivers before you down grade your OS.
maybe some of your hardware are malfunction because it is not support windows xp. Please
check the hardware 1st if it is supported by windows xp.

Bai mangayo unta kog idea nimo aning Step 2... Unsaon pag delete all partition using vista?? gamit ug bootable OS cd??
