Sir royale, you might hurt your tortoise if you put a little water in their food. Your tortoise's natural habitat is on semi arid lands which is south of the Sahara desert and because of that, their bodies can conserve water extremely well. Too much water in their food may cause kidney failure later on. Try to check on the cabbage coz they seem to have high oxalate (i hope I am right) which binds with calcium, as a result, they may loss calcium in their bodies necessary for strong shell. so do not routinely feed them with cabbage.
