turn on the pc while nag open iyang casing nya make sure di ka mag lisud ug lugar sa imo ulo na di ka ma correntehan para manual jud nimo madungog then post diri asa nimo na dungog or where you think the source of the enginelike sound comes from.
Ok murag duol nata sa problema, habwa.a gud na pc nimo dal.a sa gawas kanang buntag dyud kanang hayag, dayon open ang casing, then try to boot up your pc. Then listen where dapit ang kanang kagalkal.
Suspeck nako ana PSU Fan, pwedi rana ma limpyohan kung naay kay blower or replace the fan kung feel nimo luag na sya, basta kabaw lang ka mo bungkag dali ra dyud na.
Barato rana ang Fan, sayon ra pud tangtangon kay gi screw raman na, then ang wire ana naka solder sa board sa PSU, pero kung di ka gusto ma hasol tangtang sa board, just cut the wire, and just follow the positive (red) and negative (black) sa wire sa new fan then sumpay lang balik.![]()
why would a "noisy" PSU fan delay the boot-up process by 1.5-2.5 minutes? or any other noisy fan for that matter.
Murag karaan ni iyang Windows XP bro kay ma kita paman ang.
llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Murag hinay iyang PC or ang HD hinay samot na naay mo pitik pitik nga tingog, dilikado mao dugay pud mo boot up.
@TS
Unsay Specs aning pc nimo?
@SmaRkieS
hehe negative sir.. hehe di ko kapasalig sa dirtyworks ani (disassembling the PSU, cutting wires, soldering boards, etc.) hehe.. ako mahimo tngale ky bloweran lng ang vent sa PSU hehe.. and yes, ako nsad natry tuod b4 ug open ang casing (kanang sa side nga cover), pero dli kaayu to hayag, it's hard to trace mn sir kay mura mn gud cya nkasurround ang kasaba, mao to ang motherboard akong gipasanginlan.. (hehe naa mn gd gisi or kom-ot ang carton/box sa motherboard tong pgpalit nko hihi, bt i tink it's not enough to conlcude nga defective xa).. yup, ang first time gyud niya nga pgkasaba is pitik pitik nga sound, it happend twice ata b4 then ako lng gihapak lightly ang casing nihilom cya kadyot then the following mao nato engine-like na ang kasaba..
about the llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll lllllllllllllllllllllllllllll loading bars tuod, mrag OS problem guro ni sir, i bet tongod to sa pgkainstol nako sa OS b4.. kay sauna pa jd, dli man makita ang loading bars and dali ra siya mgboot.. even wen i was using my old system pa b4 ko ng-upgrade, wla man cyay loading bars, the loading bars started to appear after ng-reinstall ko sa OS.. but the thing that really concerns me ky ang engine-like sound gyud sir.. tinga lng ko ky sabay mawala ang engine-like sound if mu-appear na ang loading bars..
BTW, OS nko is WindowsXP (SP2) and peke sad
P5KPL MBoard
Core2duo cpu
2gb 800 ram
only the hardisk and floppy drive ang akong nasalvage from my old system (IDE 160gb nga seagate) and 2yrs+ pa..
@nirdle_phogi
yes naa koy floppy drive sir..
@coolnezz
mao sad akong gikalibgan sir.. but i can't rily pinpoint kng kinsa gyud ang gasaba..
it's an HDD issue, heads are probably sticking/seizing. backup your data right away.
if you have it, try turning on S.M.A.R.T monitoring in BIOS to see error messages during boot up.
borrow another HDD to test.
naa ka optical drives na IDE? try daw tangtanga den boot...wat vcard imo gamit?
