I wonder what would a fundamentalist atheist do?

Come to think of it.. nothing. Atheists has no god, no rituals, no quirky commandments. I think it's better to have a fundamentalist atheist rather than a fundamentalist theist.

Sorry but that is a wrong perception of an atheist. An atheist certainly won't blow himself up in a crowd full of theist (muslims do) to prove his point. And certainly an atheist won't kill someone so that he can prove his point of view (religious fundies do). Atheists like everybody else loves to live, because we believe that this is our only chance for life. There's no life after this. That's why atheist wants to live their lives to the fullest.

It's not that atheists believe in nothing. Atheists follow the golden rule. Atheists believe that each person has the right to choose to decide for himself as long as the person's decision does not affect the well being of others.

I did not say I hate rules or hate anybody. Do you think if I kill someone, I would not be punished? We have laws and for the life of me I don't want to get incarcerated for the rest of my life. The theists on the other hand, would kill someone without blinking if they were told that they will have eternal bliss or 72 virgins for that matter, if they would act according to the will of God or Allah. Cos theists would think that life on earth is just temporary, important for them is the afterlife. So, theists would do anything just to attain this afterlife bliss. And in order to attain this they follow their religion blindly.

What atheists don't like about religion is it's blatant disregard of reason and logic. Religion would do everything and anything so that they can enforce their belief even though it's bad for society.
