    this took me a while., tricky.. but i got an idea

    When you get areas of each figure:
    that is:
    Red Tri 12
    Blue Tri 5
    Yellow 7
    Green 8
    Total 32

    When i tried to get area of the big triangle (assuming that it is a perfect triangle), i got 32.5

    mmm... now u'r owned... upper figure is not a triangle! it does look like one but, diagonal line of Blue Tri is not linear to the diagonal of the Red Tri., it can't be a triangle, it has so little difference that we cud see it like one

    your observation is partially correct., it's not a curve, it has actually angular degrees. nga kun imo i-connect ang tumoy sa pinakawala og tumoy sa pinakaibabaw., naa triangle maresulta na ang area 0.5 square unit ra, haskang gamaya mao na mura japon perfect triangle tan-awon ang figure 1

    sa figure 2 - kun i-connect nimo ang parehas na mga tumoy, naa triangle ma-resulta with only 1 square unit ang area., that explains the hole - 1 square unit

    i could edit the triangle and make it perfectly aligned.
    i already figured it out the answer.

    it's really a triangle.
    ill try to modify it again tomorrow sa office.

    it's a triangle alright. why does it work?
    you know there's a surface area difference.
    but how can this be true?

    it's not... slopes of red tri and blue tri are different., it must be the same if that's a triangle

    and the two triangles have different angles., try computing it:

    red tri:

    angle = in tan ( 3/8 )

    blue tri:

    angle = in tan ( 2/5 )

    it's obvious even if you do not calculate it, leg ratios of the two triangles are different.

    it's definitely not a triangle

    mao na seems na joke imo answer kay joke man jud., ahehe!

    if ur thinking, guess lang, na tungod na sa pag-sapaw sa line sa figures., mao na, joke jud..lolz

    try looking at your figures, haven't you noticed sa intersection point sa small tri (blue) and bigger tri (red) sa 2nd figure., i-compare ang same na point sa 1st figure (or vice versa 1st's intersection compared to the same point sa 2nd figure)., only blind people can't notice such difference if i-specify asa magtan-aw., straight?!?! pag-sure dira., mismo ikaw biktima sa imong illusion!! lolz

    pagka-ilad pud ani oi..

    di man na triangle ang dako naporma.. kay lahi man ang slope sa hypotenuse sa red ug blue triangle.. mukurbada na gamay.. that's the illusion.
