hi everyone, i just read this now. and would like to bring this one step higher. we are organizing all local ngo's to sign up in a general complaint form to be submitted to the dti. we have gotten the support of several major business groups in cebu but are kind of stuck in one area of the complaint. the content of the complaint. in simple, we are frustrated with the service but can't find the words to put into writing. it has to be done in an elegant and nice sounding way.... sounds funny but we are talking about serious biz groups. im not kidding! send me a personal message if you have a suggestion. i will personally vouch that the complaint will reach the dti head for region 7. the complaint is general and not just globe. addressed to all ISP's advertising false bandwidth speeds and the notorious fine print.

we already discussed using the word false advertising but its "technically" not. you have to read the fine print. however, it is misleading. but then again, misleading is almost equivalent to "lie" but, almost is also not equivalent.
the complaint has to be technical and not just a frustrated cry from a user. that's why we need your help to put it to words of substance that just doesnt bash at them, but rather tells them that this is wrong.
Lets take an example of a 512kbps promo pakage by globe today, as advertized 512kbps by their website, if we take a test on quality data centers for maximum accuracy. I'm 100% that the promise speed will fail on accuracy, not bec the data center lack accuracy, not bec the advertizement is just misleading, its bec. everthing is just a lie.
I will elaborate more about this so called "False Advertizement", look at this words posted on their website.
