The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it.
why do u want to become one?
ah, law school.
some reasons for pursuing law school would be to (accdg to those i know):
1. further studies aka "my parents are so rich. i don't have to work or there is no work in my field so i'm gonna pursue further studies" line - that's good.
2. the study of law is a very cool intellectual game where you can be very impressive - that's good too.
3. a family of lawyers - ah ok.
4. "doing it for the CV and the chicks" - good luck!
people are free to judge the value of law to them. bcuz if you don't see the value of it, you will become just like one of those people with their titles and LLBs.
schools.
my top choice is AdMU. they have the curriculum i really want. if i'm not mistaken AdMU offers a program of study leading to the award of the Juris Doctor (JD) degree. why ateneo? i have a long history of jesuit education. since my kindergarten years up until college, i've been with ateneo (de davao). so why break it now? it's too expensive for someone like me who's gonna put herself through law school on her own... but all good education comes with pricey tags, right? oh well... my blue knight heart just refuses to be tainted with other colors. but if i'm left with no choice, there are still other nice schools.
the others:
UP is a great school. offers Juris Doctor too. only... i have my biases against UP. i find it really hard to go to a school where (some) students wear their pjs to class. i mean, why? no, don't answer that. i cannot find any justifiable reason why such treatment to a school such as UP. of all schools i've visited in this lifetime, i've never been insulted as much as my trip to UP. true, i'm not from UP and i've no right to speak like this but i have so much respect for the school that it breaks my heart to see (some) students pay their homage to UP by wearing these clothes to class. again, UP is a great school!
San Beda College. they have a nice history of bar exam passers. before, they usually flaunt their 100% passing rate. mayor duterte went to san beda. and well, i got nothing to say. i still have to get myself acquainted to San Beda College.
oh well.. my point-of-view.
ive never seen a classmate in PJs, ever... Boxers and beach shorts, daghan...![]()
im sorry ur trip 2 UP was such a dissapointment..but the university do have a lot more to offer than the students' impeccable dress code.
i should admit, offhand? kay all of my classmATES are going.Originally Posted by Luthienne

i knew im gonna be a lawyer when i was in 4th grade.
how's that for afixed mind?
To ensure high quality of law graduates, I think the government should limit law schools to only 5 and high admission standards should be set.
