question. can more than one person play harmonica all at the same time? wouldn't it sound awful?

@luthienne: I've read that there are harmonica bands in other countries. Pero commonly, only one harmonica player is in a band, usually in a blues rock band. I could play the guitar, cujo could play another instrument, and you could play the harp (slang term for the harmonica) =)

@Luthienne - Thanks for the effort though, hehehe. Yup, i think its of the same caliber with my present-day instrument, mine is worse kay ang brand name niya Parrot!!! At least yours is named after a person, akua kay sa langgam. Nihit kaayo ang orig nga harmonica diri sa atua, ambot lang sa manila. Pati mga instructional materials ZERO. I bought a hohner pud sa RJ sa una sa ayala pero tua na sya ron sa harmonica heaven. If you do find one (harmonica, instructional stuff), ingna ko ha? and vise versa. Good luck and rock on!!!

SIge kog search sa internet kung asa makapalit, nakahuna2x nuon kog order sa gawas pero murag gasto na man kaayo. Kato nalang sang baratohon, di pa man pud ko pro =)

i've only watched Mulawin twice. got curious. wanted to see how they did the flying scenes.

seems like you two are already good at playing the harp. i only know how to play the song "masarap ang simoy ng hangin." kana ra sad gyud nga part. hehe. sulayan ni nako'g kat-on puslan mang nana ni diri. i'll post again kung naay progress.

Hoy kung seryoso mo makat-on sa harp. Daghan websites nga pwede adto-an. If you really get into it I may be in Cebu sometime December maybe I can share some tips. Pero basig mas maayo pa mo sa ako. I can bring some harps at cost + a bottle of beer(optional). hehehe. Its too much trouble to bring it through airport X-rays.
Luthienne (Thoundths like ahm lithpin. hehehe) you probably have the tremolo model of hero harmonica. This is tuned for country and traditional songs. Play it till you get a diatonic harp. If you want to play blues, rock or country you need the ten hole harp. Try amazon.com for harmonica literature. Try to get a Blues Harp. Marine Band brand is ok altho' you have to break it in first. Try the simple 4 bar blues 1st & practice, practice, practice. Move on to a chromatic one as you get better.

i don't think i can learn this instrument alone. i would really love to learn this, if there weren't already a bunch of other things that i didn't want to learn in the first place. but who knows? i have this image of myself going to the beach or going hiking and playing the harmonica. it must feel really peaceful.
