tama ila giingon nga butangi ug intake sa atubangan sa imo case.usually naa man na siya sa mgabago nga casing karon then butangi pud exhaust.remember dapat ang intake = exhaust nimo para no air trap inside sa imo casing.

simplistic raman ko pre, dili ko superstitious. everything we do for the PC has to have a scientific basis, dili kay kono-kono lang, and the results u get out of ur tests using another cooling fan has to be statistically significant, if u know what i mean. like if ma-extend ang MTBF for an additional 3 months or 6 months, then that's statistically significant. so if u cannot measure the increase in MTBF if usng an external cooling fan, kana subjective ra gyud na nga observation ninyo.

anyway, if ur pocket allows it, then do it!

besides, HDD manufacturers have very rigorous HDD tests (such as MTBF) before any hard drive of any rpm gets out of the factory.

so, kon abnormal jud ang init sa hard drive without using another cooling fan, then that's either a factory defect or a developed defect, and u should return it if warranty pa. dili kay gamitan ug quick-fix...

bay ruel, by abnormal, buot pasabot ana kana permi lang gawas sa temp range nga para ta sa HDD no?...

"The average temperature for this hard disk is 33C (MIN=24C MAX=41C) and yours is 43C."

43C is not a cause of concern bro...angay ka makudjawan kon pirme 47C or above.

pero ayaw lang salig anang mga temp sensor oist, hikapa jud imo HDD while in operation. kon makahilos gani, aw abnormal na jud...pero normal ra nang naay gamay init oist. HDDs were designed with that in mind.

so they say, "if it burns your finger, then it's not normal anymore"...
