I've seen the anime version and i'm yet to see the movie (live action) version. The Main Character "Saya' is played by Korean actress Gianna Jun, populary known as the female character from the movie "My Sassy Girl".
The story is set in the American Yokota Air Base located in post-WWII Japan, a few months before the beginning of the Vietnam War. It's main protagonist is a girl named Saya, the last remaining original vampire who hunts hematophagous bat-like creatures called Chiropterans for a secret organization known as Red Shield.

the premise of the story makes it sound uninteresting, but i'm still looking forward to watching it coz of Gianna Jeon...
(i wonder if she'll have lines in Japanese in this movie)

Though english ang language sa movie... you can still identify her korean accent when she speaks the language.. Ok ra man pud, i like her accent better than Zhang Ziyi.. though she's old na, she still looks like a real teenage girl with that high school uniform ;p
