As for ryu_hayabusa's Xbox, I think it is a good deal.
Aside from the convenience, the exclusive games, and the fact that you don't have to upgrade it ... yeah forget about the Xbox. I don't think you understand the point of getting a console Xbox, PS2, or GC. It isn't about the megahertz and the power.If you already have a gaming PC, forget about X-Box its practically the same as a Gaming PC. only PCs are faster and better.
@piper4ever ... Is Halo 1 and 2 worth getting an Xbox for? To play it on Xbox Live ... hell ya. But there are other games that I would get the Xbox for even without Halo 1/2. I'm particularly excited with a couple games like Jade Empire from Bioware and Pyschonauts.

sir vern, whats your take on the crystal edition xbox, is it really worth P4,000 more than the vanilla xbox? (ryu_hayabusa is offering me his for P14k)

You are buying more than the Halo 1/2 when you buy an Xbox, you have other games. So yes an Xbox is still worth it. It's just for looks, it's not like you are going to carry your Xbox around, so no I don' think it's worth the extra money.

ang lead developer sa FF series sa square soft made a independent company, then was bought buy MS... this means that we can see lots of top notch RPG games on Xbox2 ( Xenon )

i used to think xboxes are "weak". Not in the literal sense of the word (please spare me the lecture on Xbox hardware). I simply thought that consoles are for kids. I got to play Xbox for a whole month in NZ (cos my host only had a laptop) and well.. i want one now. It's fun. I even enjoyed my fave RPG more in the *box.
