crystal and vb6 i ok, just need to call crystal reports as a application

complex queries? if you mean inner joind etc... yeah, it can handle it, you can even have multiple queries if you like it, and you can program crystal reports within the reports, handling conditional statements and etc.
Naa tutorial kong usa-on pag himo ug complex queries sa Crystal Reports without using temporary tables? thanks

I don't think views will work in MSAccess database, but only in MySQL or MSSql

    Thanks for the reply.

ahh dats what you want diay
anyway you can change the data source of crystal reports dynamically (during runtime)
you could create a recordset in vb6 then set it as the datasource of the crystal report

    one issue though,

when you create a crystal reports you actually design it from a datasource,
so create a dummy table just 4 crystal, like a xml fle just to design the report
then during runtime change the datasource to your custom query
