    Default CDO-Cebu Drive

bradir, done this trip just recently... CEBU-CDO-CEBU
we did same route as godwhaker mentioned..

drive from CDO - Iligan - Kolambugan/Mukas (around 3 hour drive)
take barge from Mukas to Ozamis (transit time around 30-45 minutes)
drive Ozamis -Oroquieta- Dapitan (around 2-hour drive)
take barge Dapitan to Dumaguete (transit time around 4 hours)
drive Dumaguete to Tampi (around 15 minutes drive)
take barge Tampi to Bato (transit time around 45 minute)
drive from Bato to Cebu City via Oslob-Argao route (around 3-hours drive)

should cost your around 5K to reach Cebu including gas. this is for 1 driver + 1 passenger

enjoy the trip. only CDO-Kolambugan route - di kaayo nindot ug dalan. Cemented pero really needs rehabilitation. calling all our congs'men - govs., we appeal to you to make an effort, repair our roads.
From Ozamis all the way to Cebu City, nindot na and dalan...

Bro 5 K ra nagasto. Ug ibarko kaha ang sakyanan bro asa may mas mahal?
And one more question, safe ba mo byahe from CDO to Dapitan?
Wala bay mang harang sa dan?

for direct ship CDO-Cebu, if sakyanan nimo bag-o or dako2x, madak-an ka gamay coz i think naay insurance charge sa freight nga depende sa declared value sa imo sakyanan... not very sure on this though pero sa amo case, it came out cheaper and drive compared to direct route

so far, if adlawan lang ka mo biyahe, safe man... daghan man pud military check points along the route...
i would also recommend to travel nga adlawan if dili kaayo swueto sa route.

Okay bro, thanks for this very valuable information. I and my family is planning a trip to Camiguin during the summer break (kung madayon) kay naa sad koy mga pana-ad ngadtu. Love to pray on the volcanic mountain.

Then take roro to Talisayan (mao ba ni) and drive to CDO. Stay there for a night and follow the route you mentioned (with your good advice). Drop by Baliangao to see my good old kumpare and stay for a few days in Dipolog/Dapitan where my wife has plenty of relatives. Then continue with the trip back to Cebu.

    Daghang salamat bro.

no problemo... always glad to help...

i think gkan camiguen, balingoan mo maka dock. then drive mo to CDO

added info, Dapitan to Dumaguete ferry, the Montenegro Line leaves at 2pm. just be sure to time your drive, cguro around 1pm kinahanglan naa namo sa pier to make the ferry...
naa pa usa ka ferry to dumaguete but it will leave earlier, i think 10am to iya sched.
