Na assign ko ka usa sa my Naval Yard diha sa D.C. & that is in Southeast D.C.(ghetto) that is a place where drive by shootin, gangsta wars,Â* robbed etc..is common. Dili ka kita ug puti diha, unless its the police.Â* That is a placeÂ* where the Biggest, Blackest, Meanest, Baddest Broth'as hang around.Â* And Southern MD is near @ Southeast D.C.Â* My bother-in-law told me that these folks are comming from Baltimore.Â* Baltimore is a Nice City especially in the Camden Yards & in Harbor Area; but once you pass that & you go deep in the city....my god its like day & night.Â*

Tell your Husband to move down in northern VA; its beautiful here & the school system is @ par with other rich counties in the U.S. although we have high Property taxes here including vehicles but the cost of living is not as bizarre asÂ* Los Angeles, CAÂ* &Â* Manhattan, NY.Â*

And hey before you go back to the Ol country & since its Fall now,Â* visit the Shenandoah Valley.Â* Its nice up there in the mountains where you could see Thick Forest of the leaves of Trees Changing their colors.Â* Its really that beautiful.

Spec, we just can't move that easy coz he's built his construction company in this area for 16 years, and daghan mga repeat customers, and it would be very hard on his part to be living in VA and do business in our part of Maryland kay ang iyang mga tools gusto man niya sa balay nga shed gyud for security reasons, kadaghan na siya gikawatan. Lisud kaayo itaak ug state nga balik uno ang negosyo. My mom is in Virginia and so is my sister, mas nindot gyud bitaw, but there are neighborhoods diri nga nindot mahal² nuon ang mga balay.

^ O.T. Im still very optimistic; that one day we will be again as one or @ the top of the Economic Tigers in Asia. We do had that title before during the 60's & im still hoping this will come again into fruition.

Everybody knows we're a different country and people from where you guys are now, but eventhough we're opportuned to live outside Pnas, it's not right to belittle our being Filipinos. Dili limud ang kinaiya ug taras sa pinoy, dili nalang ta magpaka-maayo pa ta kaysa nila tungod kay naa tas gawas.

In every topic, ang thread starter's first post man ang basihan sa replies, not just the topic itself. Lahi man iya pasabot cgruo pag.open niya sa thread. Although it said places you've been to... food, culture, unsa pa to iya giapil? Kahibaw naman ta tanan sa food, culture nato, though current events wala pero naa man sad lain ana nga thread. So iya pasabot kay other places around the globe.
