if ur wearing fake clothes does it mean that ur baduy already??
No dili BADUY if ang gi sul-ob kay naa ra na sa ga dala . The title though is kind of misleading since AFAIK .. the TS meant that tungod sa mga IMIT na items / apparels , that certain product ni bati and dili na maayo i patronize since daghan FAKE na ni exist . Of course since when did FAKE items was a better choice compared sa ORIG other than its cheaper .

In my humble opinion, it IS baduy to wear fake clothes especially if you want to pass them off as real. And for people who wear fakes, it's clear that they can't afford the real thing that's why they resort to wearing fakes. Why aspire for something that's not within your means?
There is NOTHING redeeming about wearing fakes. My friends work in the fashion and retail industry and they tell me that fakes are killing our economy if we continue to patronize them. I know this should be in another thread but if you wear fakes, you are disrespecting the quality of the barnd, its integrity, what it stands for. It might sound totally bourgeousie to most but it's the truth.
I'll wear a Baleno polo shirt from SM if it's what I can afford rather than wear a fake Lacoste.
Again, this is just my humble opinion.

wala man tinale baduy, basta maau lang pagkada sa gasulob
Cant agree more to your statement !
Its really killing the industry and the people patronizing the real ones . One example is , my MMA shirts ( authentic and licensed products ) lisod na kaayo halinon tungod kay naay KNOCK-OFFS na MMA shirts pod for only 300 PHp lol but then again , the quality is compromised .

That's why I buy local. You support local artists, local craftsmen, local manufacturers and local entrepreneurs. PLUS, THEY'RE THE REAL DEAL. AUTHENTIC!Like what my friend said, "Mupalit kog tinuod na Secosana or Bayo na bag kaysa fake na Louis Vuitton." One friend of ours said, "But you're rich and you're pretty. If mupalit kag fake, di man gihapon mailhan. Angayan man ka! Diba, naa ra gyud sa magda!" She replied, "Pero AKO mismo kahibaw ko na fake. Mailad nako ang uban pero di nako mailad akong self."
I'm sorry to hear about how fakes are damaging your shirt business.
But to keep in line with this thread's topic, let me add this. I said Juicy Couture is baduy, for me, because there are a lot of fakes. I have another reason, and it's because of their designs. The color combinations are too loud (apple green and pink, teal and maroon - they're in Rustan's) for me that they come across as tacky.
Don't get me wrong. I have a Juicy couture purse. It's black and gold and it's leather with the words Some Girls Have All the Juicy at the back. I like it because it's still classic. The other designs are too much for me because their too bright and for me, distasteful.[Just to make sure I keep the posts within the topic specified]
How about the rest?
uhmm...depende yan kasi may mga pretty na sosyal nagsusuot din ng mga imit... aba malay natin? diba?
