heheh. not really. kakita pod ko ug timequake ni vonnegut didto sa gaisano danao. i think gaisano also carries books from booksale. my friend found hocus pocus sa thrifthouse for less than 20 bucks. naa may mga vonnegut na sa national bookstore(slaughterhouse five, breakfast of champions, etc) but it sure do cost a fortune. scouring bargained books on booksale / thrifthouse is much better. it's like going to a blind date. you'll never know what you're gonna get, sometimes its a keeper sometimes its just blah.

naa may Cebu Thrift House or shop ba to likod sa gaisano main. layo lang jud kaayo.

lahi ra jud ang bargain books. Fetish naman siguro ko ning mga libro na ga-yellow na ang pages.
i prefer them over new ones.

bookay-bookay is slowly becoming an obsession for me.
tungod lang jud kay ganahan ko makakita ug vonnegut na bargain. wahehe.
lahi ra jud ang feeling na makakita kag barato na awesome na libro.

well, wala pako kitag vonnegut na barato, pero i have stumbled on many great finds naman pud.

My latest bookay-bookay pride is The Giver by Lois Lowry for... Php15!!
one of the best young adult books ever, and i have read it pag-12 nako and still cant forget the characters, plot, etc.

    WEeeeeee.

    latest loot:

you can see that my taste varies a lot. from crime/thriller (Harris), to young adult fiction, to children's, etc.
