So which is better in terms of performance considering a very large number of users? ASP, PHP or Java Servlet?

I have not done any benchmarks myself so I cannot comment on the speed.
But according to this site Easy Webbers :: Webmasters Blog: Finally! The difference between PHP, ASP and other scripting languages. PHP scales better.
