i'm in sad Sir Blackhawk! Nagstart mi buhi ug 2 Cockateils, 1 male and 1 female.. then karon nanaghan na sila.. hehehe!
I only have few finches left, but I can recommend fellow friends from BLoC; Sniper (09153570000), Marsy (09194744849) & Matty (09163945662) who's breeding a number of varieties. I suggest you transport finches via airport to airport to minimize stress since Finches easily stress-out compared to African Lovebirds, Cockatiels, Parakeets and English Budgies. Re transport, you need to have either Certificate of Wildlife Registration (CWR) or Wildlife Farm Permit (WFP) from the breeder where you'll buy the birds and Permit to Transport from the Bureau of Animal Quarantine which is inside Mactan Airport. Sana nakatabang ni...

Ettedo62,
I agree w/ Joshua but if you have extra cash I suggest you also try African Lovebirds (ALBs)... Before you buy, I also suggest you do some reading on Care Sheets (size of cage/perch, food, breeding, etc.) of the type of bird you're buying. For my birds (ALBs, Keets, EBs, Finches), I use the foldable 17x17x30" cage. Variety of food and its ratio depends on the condition of the bird. If they are moulting, I increase the ratio of sunflower (high in fat and oil) to help in the growth of healthy and shiny feathers. You also need to give vegies at least once a week. I'm not an expert, this is only based on my experience. Sana nakatabang ni...
