I do understand where you are coming from Marky. I too have my share of frustrations with this company.

Its really hard bro if 3 days prior pa mu submit ang cebu pac sa inyong reservation. unsaon nlng kung 3 days before kay muingon ang hotel na booked na sila. goodluck nalang , imong itinerary maguba gyud, mahasol mu tanan.

Next time, I would suggest, book your hotel reservations directly with the Hotel para cguradong di mag labad imong ulo

I hope ma settle na ni ninyo with cebu pacific. and may this also be a lesson for us

    thanks for sharing this bro.

    my opinion:

CebPac does not handle hotel reservations directly. i think they have a tie-up with a HK travel agnecy (the "international partner" as stated in your 1st post) to do this for them, and that partner has CONFIRMED receipt of your booking. usually, travel agencies are allocated a certain number of rooms per day with their partner hotels. in your case, you need not worry, i'm pretty sure your hotel booking will push thru. just check with the HK hotel again 3 days prior to your departure. you stated that you worked with an International Travel Agency for 2 yrs so i think you're familiar with these procedures. btw, i used to be a Front Office Mgr for a big hotel that's why i won't be worried if i were in your shoes.

I'm sure others have had positive experiences, but mine with Cebu Pacific were mostly of delays (hours jud, not just minutes). I missed several appointments because the carrier is so NOT always on time.

For local flights, I would prefer to fly via Pal. At least if something goes wrong, I can easily transfer to PAL's or Air Philippines (same owner anyway).
