I'm going to pretty much say what I said when people were still deciding between Obama and Hillary ...
Some thought Democrats would never elect a black candidate. How wrong they were. Some thought the US would never elect an African American president. How wrong they were.

factors how americans voted:
61% economy, 13% iraq war and only 8% for terrorism.
to quote a political analyst, "the republican branding has been tarnished" thus a significant number of republicans voted for democrats.
There is just one color now, and that is green. I guess the color green overcame the color black. i just don't know if that is bad or if it is worse.
