The lack of credibility (adventists) is what makes the prophecy (as interpreted by them) not believable. Their "prophetess" Ellen White is said to have received visions about the end-time events that she came up with an eschatology of what is to come that only the Sabbath-keepers (Saturday worshipers) will be those saved during Christ's second coming. Sunday-keepers (Catholics especially as well as other Christians) will have to bear the brunt of hell's wrath for honoring Sunday.

If a prophetess is really someone entrusted by God to see what the end-times is gonna be like, why did she not foresee the Great Disappointment in October 22, 1844 when she and the rest of the Millerites were made to believe that Christ was supposed to appear on that date which did not come to pass at all?

what made me changed and the whole family was that we believed in the Bible as the word of God.

There are more than 23,000 Bible-believing religions around the world and all claim to have found the truth in the Bible, now what makes you think you're different from the rest?
