    ya you may have found the motherboard's usb 2.0 drivers but i bet it wont still install without the service pack

    theres no such thing as a motherboard USB 2.0 drivers >> way lalis <<

    you need to update to the latest service pack to get the full speed and features of USB 2.0 or else your USB is stuck to 1.1 even if you install the inf files from the motherboard manufacturer saying its for the USB 2.0

    those usb 2.0 files that come with the driver disc are extension files for USB... but you cant actually use it in any way without the service pack.

    Nobody is gonna dispute that. If you look at that site, the drivers are for Win 98 and ME, thus needing "retrofitting" if a user wants to upgrade to USB 2. As for Windows XP, one needs at least SP1. I found one (non official site, standard disclaimers apply, use at your own risk, scan for viruses, yada yada yada) http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/winxpsp1.html (that's one big file, about 130 mb).

    For 9x platform its a clear thing that it has no service packs. hehe

    but i do believe the author need usb 2.0 driver in NT platform

    o by the way, upgrade ur firmware to the latest one, then check ur BIOS USB setting basin naka 1.1 echange it to 2.0, kay naka encounter nko ani sa MSI nga mobo after mag update sa firmware ang USB mobalik sa 1.1 so i did change to 2.0 high speed sa BIOS.......
