xD Finally, i'm done with episode 3-8. Toradora gets better and better. xD I should read the novels later.
And yay~ for Minorin!!! xDD Haha.. i love her crazy antics and funny scenes!!!

what i like about this show is that the characters feel human.

i love the op and ed songs, too.. ^^ Catchy and fun~.
And they do feel natural.. i still like how Kitamura rejected Taiga. xD Smooth~.. Even his revelation that he once (spoiler ahead. highlight at your own risk.xD) liked Taiga was said naturally (reminds me of that Zetsubou episode where people tell surprising topics in a very normal, natural manner). It's sad that he doesn't feel that way anymore. I think he's more on Ami or the student council president now. Well, i haven't read the novels yet so i don't know who he really likes. But i think i'm more of a KitamuraXTaiga, RyuujiXMinori fan.
But the more i watch Ryuuji and Taiga, i'm beginning to like their relationship towards each other, whatever it may be. xD In a siblings way? Bestfriends? Master-slave? or Rabu rabu~ xD
I love Minori's scenes in each episode. xD I always look forward to it. xD That scene where Ryuuji asks her reaction on people saying they're a dojikko made me lol for minutes. Hurray for the Diet Warriors!! xDDD

And yes, i also think Ami's getting more character development than Minori. I do hope they'll focus more on Minori soon, and not just show her as the lulz of the show.) Minorin FTW~!

Minorin's tip on how to survive class..

At first, i really didn't like Ami. x__x She was really getting on my nerves with all her acting and whatnot. But that episode about her and the scene where she conquered her fear and crushed that stalker's camera was amazing. xD It was like a yandere character in action! And the bgm was great. But that stalker problem seemed weak for me. I was hoping for a more scary/serious problem (not that stalker problems are not that serious and scary. It just lacked strength for her story, imo.)

I'd also like to add how i love the side characters. xD Ryuuji's mom is funny when she acts like a child. xD making Ryuuji look more mature and level-headed.
Yuri-chan, the teacher, is funny, too. xD Poor her, getting intimidated by the students/Taiga.
Haruto is pure LOL! I lol'ed when he tried reading english sentences (oh Gawd, we must go there and tutor them! <- not an excuse to go there.. really. >_>) and when he misspelled ALL into ARL. xDDD Ang focus unta ato na paper kay ilang bet between Taiga and Ami, na punta na nuon sa iya ang discussion. xDDDD
The student council president is cool, too! ^^ i love her yakuza attitude~. Pang leader kaayu. xD

The bird, inko, still freaks me. x__x

I'm an Ami-Ryuji fan.

Somehow I can't see Minori as Ryuji's lover, given that Minori is a clueless airhead and Ryuji is a silent social inept. Ryuji himself admitted that he lacks the initiative and follow-through Taiga has. Maybe it's how it is presented in the anime, but Minorin's scenes with Ryuji don't feel romantic at all, even with the token "locked in the storeroom" episode. there's no sexual tension between them whatsoever.

Ami, meanwhile, seems to be steadily moving in on Ryuji. In the novels, Ryuji commented on how Ami's face no longer bore the malice she so often exuded before. Outwardly, she's the sweet girl and he's the delinquent but in reality he's the shy sensitive type and she's the bossy queen. what a match! yay!

Recently in the novel translations, Ryuji finds himself daydreaming about Taiga, who in turn catches him ogling her. It is also strongly hinted that Takasu is in fact after the President, and that she is the main reason why he joined. he is also depicted as being suspiciously over-enthusiastic about the president's plans, like the clean-up drive where he constantly praises the president, so much so that it becomes unnatural.

While Ami may keep saying that Taiga is jealous of her, it seems that she is actually jealous of the amount of attention Ryuji pays Taiga. (not to mention her jealousy of Taiga's ability to be bossy and be cool with whatever people think of her.)

I agree, i think the stalker problem seems to be too light to be the main problem of her story arc. The stalker himself seemed too insignificant to be the antagonist. He's too minor for such a major impact on Ami.

Taiga in a dress is just so adorable.

Hmm.. I've been getting that feeling, too.. about Minori and Ryuuji. But no matter, i'll be a RyuujixMinorin fan forever~! xDDD

xD They really sing fast. i can't imagine singing rap japanese songs.. or my tongue might suffer the pain of being crushed with my teeth. xD

The stalker part was really weak. Heck, the stalker IS weak! xD He seemed like a weak squeamish otaku, imo. But you know what they say, never underestimate the power of an otaku. xD They're freaky at massive doses. >_>

You know, when i watched Toradora ep 1 and learned about Ryuuji, he reminded me of my sister's classmate way back in elementary. He really looked mean and delinquent student au ug aura. His eyes and the way he smile can make almost anyone twitch in fear. Well, that was everyone's thought of him, even mine. I just don't know if he's really bad as what his appearance says. I saw him last week while waiting for a puv on my way to school. He still has this scary, mean look on his face. @_@
