The Clash had numerous hits such as Rock The Casbah, Should I Stay or Should I Go among others. They are also one of the most influencial punk bands having the newer bands look up to them. At their time, The Clash was cutting edge. Today, their music lives on.

The Clash influenced by The RAMONES What the....? Where did you get that idea

Both bands came out at the same time (mid 70's) .. I doubt that one influenced the other. .. especially when both bands are from different continents and both didn't get famous til the late 70's. Both bands have different music styles as well........

hmmmm... i think if u check punk rock music history, the consensus is that The Ramones came out first... however, i still consider the Clash more innovative...

if u noticed, most of the most innovative bands in history were british or europeans... The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppellin, The Clash, The Smiths, The Police... the list is endless.. by the way, such influencial american/international artist made in big in europe first before making it in the US: Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley...

definitely one of the best bands in punk rock who was influence by the godfathers of punk rock THE RAMONES along with other bands like GREENDAY,OFFSPRING and etc..

Ramones was established first (1974) .. The CLASH was 1976, although both bands never got their fame in the PUNK ROCK world around the late 70's... mao nga I doubt either one influenced the other.

CUJO.. I'd also mention CREAM amongst those you mentioned.. CLAPTON's trio was probably the best power trio ever
