this is something that we used to do when we go kayaking on a sunday.

take a whole dressed chicken. rub it with salt, pepper, and rosemary. stuff it with onion leeks and pandan leaves. and put the chicken on a skewer.

stick the skewered chicken on the sand. cover everything with a big tin can (taro or kanang sa bambi oil). then place a lot of charcoal outside (not on top, just on the base), then light it up.

we go kayaking, exploring and having fun, then come back after two hours, and the chicken is ready... perfectly done, amazingly delicious, and definitely filling. ;D

note: we had a special plate with a hole in the middle that we use to catch the drippings...which goes well with rice or puso. perfect!

Lami ang gi turbo na whole chicken. Rub with salt and pepper. Then baste with oil (corn/olive/ordinary oil) with a little salt and pepper para dili ma dry. kung hapit na maluto ang chicken, add in potatoes (sliced in quarters) sa turbo broiler. pag naluto na, ipares siya with coleslaw or any salad, and rice. don't throw away the drippings! use it as sauce para sa imong chicken or simply ibahug lang sa rice. yumyum!
