Thanks bro for the clarification... :lol

pila na ni nga mobo(Epox 9NPA+ Ultra) bai?any ideas?
im planning to change my mobo currently it's ECS NFORCE4-A939.
the MSI RS482M4-IL makes use of ATI's SB450 southbridge chipset which suffers from poor I/O performance and lacks support for 300MB/s Serial ATA transfer rates and Native Command Queuing. Aside from that naa pa mga gagmay nga issues. So you're better off with an nForce4 mobo or if mag ATI man gyud gani ka kanang ULI M1575 (or newer) ang southbridge kay na solve ana ang problema sa SB450.Originally Posted by maRckie
so between the 2, you're better off with the Epox 9NPA+ Ultra which is also a very good overclocker
but let me show you how a newer ATI chipset (using the ULI southbridge) performs!
you will also find the Epox 9NPA+ in this benchmark (somewhere in the upper half) so you'll have an idea asa ni siya dapit compared sa uban mga mobo when it comes to OCing...

Thanks for the link bro... I'll be buying na the Epox later this afternoon today...

i'm not really planning to use it in SLI mode...yet. 'Cause it actually makes better sense to get a faster card like a single 7900GT compared to two 7600 GTs. Its cheaper and the performance difference is negligible. But i'd still like to have the option to add another card just incase (whether for SLI mode or for PPU) besides gamay ra man ang difference sa price sa Epox 9NPA+ Ultra and SLI...at least if i get it sa akong kaila.
Pero wa pa ni nako gi problema karon bro, naghuwat pa ko sa Vista before decide ko what hardware to buy mga end of the year naman daw gawas. Payts paman akong current setup to run most of the apps and games albeit ma feel na nimo ang age gamay panagsa hehe. Suya2x lang gud ta sa mga bago gud bisan ok pa ang dagan sa PC hehe.

I think ang 5.7T ang 9NPA3 Ultra...
By the way unsay kalahian sa 9NPA+ Ultra sa 9NPA3 Ultra?
Do both Mobos have Firewire? features?
gamay ra kaayo difference anang duha:
Epox EP-9NPA+ (Ultra or SLI) | Epox EP-9NPA3 (Ultra or SLI)
- 6 SATA2 ports = 4 from nForce4 chipset + 2 more from - 4 SATA2 ports only from nForce4 chipset
Silicon Image Sil3132
- two 1394a ports (firewire) - no firewire
- Winbond W83627THF LPC I/O controller - Fintek F71872F LPC I/O controller
there may also be some differences sa bundle nga dala sa duha but wa no ko sure kung unsa...
links:
9NPA+: http://www.epox.com.tw/eng/products_content.php?ps=346
9NPA3: http://www.epox.com.tw/eng/products_content.php?ps=390
if you look at the pictures sa mga link ang 9NPA+ SLi naay fan sa port area (back portion where the USB, KB, mouse, etc. ports are found) but ang sa 9NPA3 SLi kay parallel and serial ports ang naa instead of the fan.
also for the non-SLi versions naay 9NPA Ultra and 9NPA+ Ultra (take note of the "+" sign) aside from the 9NPA3 ba. Wa ko kibaw unsay difference pero sure ko gamay ra pud kaayo na...tanawa nalang sa link hehe![]()
